It is a quality screen protector, but the issue is that the matte style texture reduces the resolution of the screen beneath it. I think in previous phones that I had, the resolution was not near what the BB 9900 now has, so in the past this screen protector did not reduce the resolution. Now, it really is distracting. I just peeled it off to put a new screen protector on and you are blown away at how clear and bright the screen is without the protector. No doubt it was doing a great job protecting the screen, of course. But I went and bought new protectors that are not matte style (crystal clear).
