Once the phone receive the bluetooth device signal, you will have to pair both devices, and you need to enter the password 0000. After the password has been accepted, the bluetooth light will start blinking and then you will be able to use the bluetooth with the phone.

Comment: The listing does not make it clear that this device does not have A2DP capability--it will NOT play audio from a smartphone. You cannot listen to music or podcasts. It connects only to the telephone function.
