Question: Does it work with the IPad 2 to connect USB and view files from USB?
Answer: Yes. You can easily connect your camera directly to the unit via USB and transfer pictures, or switch to card mode and plug in a memory card directly into the adapter.

Answer: Yes.

Answer: It will not work with the iPhone.

Question: will this work with Ipad 3, Will I get "connected usb requires too much power" error?
Answer: No, it should work without having any issue.

Question: The input slot on my iPad is tiny and is for lightining cable. Do I need a another device to make work?
Answer: This adapter is not compatible with lighting ports.

Question: Will this work with the Ipad Mini?
Answer: No, this adapter is not compatible with with iPad Mini, or Lightning connectors in general.

Question: I plug in the OTG to my ipad2, now what? Nothing comes "up". Do I go to a certain program/ap to access the sd card?
Answer: No extra apps are needed. When an SD card is installed that has data (pictures) the iPad will recognize, it will open the photo gallery application for transfer options.

Question: Bought it, not realizing it was not for iPad?
Answer: This adapter is specifically for the Apple iPad, iPad 2 and iPad HD 3 models.

Question: It says when you plug it into an iPad2 it automatically opens the photos app. When I plug it in, nothing happens. Why?
Answer: You would need to ensure the reader has a card inserted into it that has files/pictures that are 'readable' or compatible with iPad.

Answer: While we cannot confirm this model specifically, it does indeed offer plug and play operation from a camera into the adapter.

Answer: Yes. This adapter plugs directly into the 30 pin port on the bottom of the ipad's. You should be able to use any standard USB cable for connecting.

Comment: The photo card slot works great! Transferred photos from my photo cards to my iPad 2 quickly. When plugging in the USB cable, the iPad states there is not enough power to support it. I have not worked with the USB port much since I bought the adapter primarily to transfer photos.
