The cutout at the base, where the charging cable goes, necessarily removes a very large section of the case's edge, which compromises the strength and integrity of the silicone and results in a sloppy feel. When plugging in the cable, it is easy to slip under the edge of the silicone -- not a big problem, but it would be nice to have a tighter fit .
The other issue is that calling this case "clear" is misleading. It is white and is definitely NOT transparent.
Still, I am pleased to have this on my new (white) iPod Touch, and for the price it is a good investment.
