Question: Do you need a wall outlet to plug this into?

Question: How does this work my manual didn't come in the package. I charged it in wall, but when I plug it to my phone it shows the charge symbol on the battery a second then stops charging. What do I do?

Question: compatable with Apple IPhone 5 ?
Answer: Not compatible for the Apple iPhone 5.

Question: will it work on the htc thunderbolt?
Answer: Yes. It will indeed work with the HTC Thunderbolt

Question: compatible with kindle fire
Answer: Unfortunately this will not work with tablets or your Fire as it has a 500 mA output and most tablets need at least 1 amp.

Question: how do you know when the charge is complete
Answer: The small button in the center of the device will illuminate up to four lights. When all four lights are lit, it is fully charged.

Question: will this charger fit all phones? I have a samsung. I alo have a power box from ROHS that someone gave me but it is missing one part can that be replaced ?? Thanks Diane
Answer: This charger has both a micro USB output as well as a standard USB output and can be used with nearly any mobile device or USB powered device. We unfortunately do not supply replacement parts for a power box.

Comment: Pretty handy device to have should your cell phone die. You just need to carry a small cable with you as well so you can connect it to your phone. Every cell has it's own cable but the common interface to this device seems to be the USB interface. I had no problem figuring it out after a few minutes but a novice may get a bit confused. You can get the manual from the Motorola site. I have a Samsung phone and charged this device using my Samsung charger, then when I needed the spare power I plugged into the Motorola using the USB cable. The only thing you need to remember is simply plugging into this device does not engage the power, you need to hit the on button.

Not the be all end all but very nice when you really need to use your dead phone and you are not near a plug or in a car AND very easy to carry in your pocket! A very inexpensive insurance policy!
