Answer: In a hurry you may end up in that situation. When inserted properly, ensuring its snapped in all the way, it is a very snug fit an nearly impossible to shake out. The keyboard it self is sure to be able to take few reasonable drops.

Answer: This keyboard uses Bluetooth which will work with both models of your tablets. Except the 7.0 model will not snap for use as a case. The Samsung keyboard dock you mention requires a physical connection via the 30 pin charging port.

Bluetooth connection was easy and the keyboard works well - I have not experienced any sticking or repeating keystroke problems yet that I read about with other brands. Comment: I was looking for a wireless bluetooth enabled keyboard that could also double as a case for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and wouldn't cover all the ports while closed. This was exactly what I was hoping for and works perfectly with my device. The only drawback is that while it can hold the tablet horizontally very well, it cannot do so vertically as was described in the video. I would definitely recommend this product.

The specs say it isn't compatible with the GT-P5113 but that's what I have and it works perfectly. Case fits snugly to tablet and not too much lag on typing. Very easy to pair. Only negative is that the cord that comes with it doesn't have a plug so you will have to have a USB compatible outlet plug.

I had difficulty getting it to sync with my tablet, but one call for assistance and they walked me through it step by step in a most courteous and professional manner. The on/off button is very small - good that it's not going to be bumped on accidentally - bad that it's actually hard to see and move from one position to the other. I am pleased - MUCH easier than using the on-screen keyboard - I can actually type! I read numerous reviews before purchase and was a bit concerned whether it would be a snug fit and stay put on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 - it's a very snug fit and stays in place.

I had tried other Bluetooth keyboards and the shift key and number keys wouldn't work properly leaving no way to access numbers and symbols locate on the same key as numbers. This worked out of the box, it always reconnects after having been turned off and makes my tablet much more easy to use if I need to respond to a bunch of emails when away from my desk. I would highly recommend this keyboard.

I had a small problem with the on and off switch and a customer service rep. called me back almost immediately and explained that the switch works somewhat stiffly.
