Question: can it charge at the same time as using the hdmi adapter or does the hdmi adapter use the charger port
Answer: The output on the back of this cradle is the standard 30 pin output for the Galaxy Tab. With the right adapter you will indeed be able to charge simultaneously and is most likely a requirement when using a Samsung HDMI adapter.
Question: how do you plug in the hdmi? can you post a pic or video?
Answer: A small 30pin to HDMI adapter is needed. This adapter would connect into the back of this dock or your tablet then into your TV, or HDMI compatible screen.
