Comment: This is the original portable charger manufactured by Motorola. It works as it is supposed to charging my Motorola Droid in a reasonalbe time. My advise would be to purchase the Motorola product only. Generic brands may not work because they are not designed to output the same amperage as the Mototola product or even if they are designed to deliver the same amperage there could be too much fluctuation in the amperage being delivered over the charging time. My sense is that charging with a charger delivering the incorrect amperage could result in battery damage.
