Answer: No, not really. The Egg case is designed for easy access to and from any pocket. While the nature of silicone is indeed a bit resistant you should have no problem getting your iPhone in and out of any pocket. In this case the resistance may also help in those awkward situations when you have a slightly larger pocket say on your coat, or if you put your iPhone 4 on a slippery dangerous surface like your cars dashboard.
